Zählen, das Alter und Preise nennen, eine Jahreszahl lesen. Hier findest du die Zahlen von null bis zu einer Milliarde, die Schreibregeln, die Ordnungszahlen und 30 Übungen.
Diese Zahlen lernst du auswendig: Alle anderen werden daraus gebildet. Von 11 bis 16 enden sie auf -dici, von 17 bis 19 beginnen sie mit dici-.

Achte auf die Doppelkonsonanten: diciassette hat zwei s, diciotto zwei t, diciannove zwei n.
Die Zehner heißen venti, trenta, quaranta, cinquanta, sessanta, settanta, ottanta, novanta. Anders als im Deutschen kommt der Zehner zuerst, und alles steht in einem Wort: trenta + due = trentadue (zweiunddreißig).

Bei uno und otto fällt ein Vokal weg. Vor uno und otto verliert der Zehner seinen Endvokal: ventuno, quarantotto, nicht ventiuno, quarantaotto.
Tre bekommt einen Akzent. Am Ende einer längeren Zahl schreibt man tré: ventitré, trentatré, centotré. Allein steht tre dagegen ohne Akzent.
Auch große Zahlen schreibt man in einem Wort, vom größten zum kleinsten Teil: 245 = duecentoquarantacinque, 1998 = millenovecentonovantotto.

Cento bleibt gleich, mille nicht. Cento verändert sich nicht: duecento, trecento. Im Plural wird mille zu -mila: duemila, tremila, diecimila. Vor otto und ottanta verliert cento meist sein o: centotto, centottanta.
Milione und miliardo brauchen di. Es sind Substantive: Sie haben einen Plural (due milioni) und stehen vor einem anderen Substantiv mit di: un milione di persone. Bei cento und mille fällt di weg: mille persone.
Punkt für Tausender, Komma für Dezimalstellen, genau wie im Deutschen. 1.500 liest man millecinquecento, 2,5 liest man due virgola cinque. Jahreszahlen haben keinen Punkt: 1998.
Ordnungszahlen geben den Platz in einer Reihe an: il primo giorno, la seconda strada. Die ersten zehn lernst du auswendig. Ab 11 streichst du den letzten Vokal der Zahl und hängst -esimo an: undici → undicesimo, venti → ventesimo, cento → centesimo.

Es sind Adjektive. Sie richten sich nach dem Substantiv, genau wie rosso oder piccolo: il terzo piano, la terza volta, i primi giorni, le prime parole.
Zwei Sonderfälle. Endet die Zahl auf tre oder sei, bleibt der Vokal: ventitreesimo, trentaseiesimo. Geschrieben gibt es auch eine Kurzform: 1° (primo), 1ª (prima).
Das Alter drückt man mit avere aus: ho vent’anni, nicht sono venti anni.
Uno vor einem Substantiv verändert sich wie der Artikel: un cornetto, una pizza, uno zaino. Euro bleibt im Plural gleich (un euro, dieci euro), und bei Preisen sagt man meist nicht centesimi: 3,50 € = tre euro e cinquanta.
