In ufficio

You go to and are in ufficio (at the office), with no article; if you don’t go, you lavori da casa (work from home; Italians also say in smart working). You fai una riunione (have a meeting) and you sei in riunione (are in a meeting), you fai una pausa (take a break). L’email is feminine: un’email, la mail, mandare una mail. A contratto a tempo indeterminato is a permanent contract, one a tempo determinato is fixed-term. Careful with la firma: it is the signature, not the company, which is la ditta or l’azienda.
